Confirmation of Order

I ordered an Inspiron 545 Minitower on 21 November and received an Order Acknowledged email. The money has been taken from my account but I have not had a confirmation email which is supposed to arrive in 48 hours and which I needs to track my order.

As I have hearing difficulties I would rather not telephone but seem unable to email them.

Any advice please.

Is to stick to the phone, write down names and numbers. Email is far too unreliable and the flood of emails means you can never be sure it was seen or made it there.

Just to update this thread - I did email Dell and got a reply today with an apology that my email had gone to the wrong department. I also got my answer.

I also finally found a number for their Customer Support UK but it gave me the same run around as all their other numbers.

I did eventually get a delivery date.

So its not all bad.

Just to give credit when it is due Dell replied to my email although a few days later and apologised saying that it had been forwarded to the wrong department and gave me the information I required.

I had found a telephone number for Customer Relations UK but got the same run around that I got on the other telephone numbers - being unable to progress beyond the automated voice with having no order number.

I finally got into the Customer Support tracking system and found out what I needed.

It can't all be bad.
