configuring network connection

Feb 15, 2004 9:39AM PST

I have a cable modem, winxp home,ie 6. Under control panel>network and internet connections>network connections>local area network>internet protocol>configure>advanced
not sure whether to leave these settings as is or to change them. Please help.
Link Down Power Saving-------default setting is set to disable.
Network Address--------------default setting is set to not present.
WakeUp on ARP/PING-----------default setting is set to enable.
WakeUp on Link Change--------default setting is set to disable.
WakeUp using APM Mode--------default setting is set to disable.
Do I change any of these? If so which ones?
Thanks in advance.

These settings are normally left to their defaults. What are you trying to achieve?
