Do you have built-in wireless? Is it turned on? You should have a button to push that will activate the wireless connection on the notebook. If you are using a card, see if the light is on.
Is the wireless connection icon, found down by the clock, have a red X through it? If it does, right click on the wireless connection icon. A menu will appear with one choice being view available wireless networks. You should have options to try to get connected. Since mine is working, I don't get all of the choices. If I remember right, one choice is to try and connect. You may also need to get the notebook close to the wireless router the first time for it to find the signal. I don't know why but, this has been the case for several people I know when setting up the network.
Post back if you can or can't get it to work.
I have configured my dlink wireless router with my desktop and is working fine. But I am unable to configure my gateway laptop(with wireless card)with Dlink wireless router.
Can anybody help me in this matter?
