If you are fast enough you undo those changes with System Restore. And no one accepts DRIVERS from Windows Update. Unless they want to learn why most of us won't do that.

At some point i had allowed many of the updates that were automatically recommended on our laptop using Windows 7 over the last month or two.
The speaker volume control is the
"Conexant CX20671 SmartAudio HD" brand.
Whenever I adjust the volume, the control ends it with an ANNOYING sound(s).
Ive tried to quiet the extra sound by going to the settings but for some reason i am not able to find a way to stop it.
It isn't just the volume controller ,,there are other various added sounds applied to the laptop too.
Is this a Windows issue? What can I do to end the sounds? Thanks all.
