Concerning arrogance: Arrogance is George Will defining

liberalism, a subject he has no reason or inclination to present accurately or positively.

Arrogance is the CEO of United Airlines being voted a $40 million dollar bonus for managing to get his airline out of Chapter 11 by looting the pension fund and getting a 25 % pay cut from all his other employees. Arrogance is various other of the high and mighty at that Airline receiving an additional $ 80 million dollars in bonuses while significant numbers of hard working employees have been given their walking papers.

Arrogance is the Bush Tax cuts which effectively redistribute income upwards, to the wealthiest 1%, while (just like Reagan) creating massive deficits for the future, and crippling America's financial position in the world. Though personally I'm grateful because my dollar now goes farther at Amazon.com and Tower Records.

Arrogance is starting a war without considering the financial implications for years if not generations to come. The current bill for Iraq is apparently about $35,000 for every household in the United States, but George and company see no reason to try to pay for this on their watch when they can foist it onto some subsequent administration.

Arrogance is an entire Administration dominated by draft evaders and people who when called upon by their country to serve had "other priorities" (**** Cheney), having successfully disposessed Al Qaeda from Afghanistan, turning around and starting another war in the Middle East without an exit strategy, and stirring up a far worse hornet's nest of terror than already existed in the first place.

Arrogance is the theft of the 2000 election which has made America look a farce as a democracy to almost every other country in the world except the Middle East where theft of elections is Standard Operating Procedure.

Arrogance is Republicans owning companies supplying the voting machines that leave no paper trail that can be objectively evaluated.

Arrogance is not attempting through the democratic process to ensure that the greatest good is conveyed to the greatest number. Arrogance is however lying about Health Care as the Insurance companies did during the Clinton hearings on the subject thus preventing a fair evaluation.

Arrogance is not liberals knowing better than anyone else what is good for the United States Ed H, that's George Bush country. He certainly knew better than the intelligence on Iraq, or Joe Wilson, or any of the other people trying to tell him there was no weapons program worth going to war over.

Arrogance is apparently is now seen as a prime Republican virtue.

Is this where you are going to finish explaining how Reagan

caused the S&L crisis? When last seen, you hadn't provided sufficient specific information to support your claim, and Josh didn't understand the difference between cause and effect.

We'll see if, like this post, it's all your opinion, and lacks a factual basis.

Sad too, but par for the course.

Actually Arrogance is...

In reply to: Concerning arrogance: Arrogance is George Will defining

a liberal who rants about George Will without apparently reading beyond the headline which would have ensured recognition that the info was based on LIBERAL STUDIES.

Arrogance is a liberal flouting (again) established and stated forum policy to NOT attempt to continue locked threads.

That is Arrogance.

Or Arrogance could be...

In reply to: Actually Arrogance is...

...where a Canadian National gripes and BASHES the USA and its President exclusively and continuously...AND NEVER EVER finds anything good or decent to say about our Country.
