Computor screen

Hi , i have a packard bell computor. & running microsoft windows xp.
Every now & then, the screen will start to move up & down,& it makes it imposible to read anything.
Any ideas what this could be?

I've seen this on old CRTs

We slide in a new LCD and it seems to fix it.

other such items near the monitor?

If not and you haven't repositioned anything before the problem started I agree that it might well be time for a replacement.
