Why is such a limited amount of information on these forums?
I thought a computer forum would cover all processors, operating systems, programs, security, languages, and challenges; but, I see less than one third here.
Why is that?

Because no one asked the question?

Seriously. These forums are here to help others, answering their questions or directing them to where they can find the answers. If the question isn't asked it stands to reason the answer wouldn't be provided in return. For general information on any given topic it's best to consult books, magazines, or online documentation, which are designed to provide answers to a broad range of unasked questions.

P.S. Just for fun, let's see if I can cover all of those topics in one question:
How big of a challenge would it be for me to install a Korean copy of Windows Vista on a Tandy TRS-80 Model 1 running a Zilog Z80 processor, keeping Internet Explorer secure? Any takers? Happy

Let's take it further.

How difficult would it be for me to install minix on a TI calculator?
You are still covering only one operating system.
But to help you with this question.
How many processors are you using for the project?
Does windows support multiple processor architectures?
The answer to that is no.
But I can take the same computer and in an hour have a working copy of FreeBSD running on it with a compatibility layer for Windows. Maybe even an emulated or virtual layer to run windows.
You have not covered every topic. You have not covered every processor. You have not covered everything.

Again, why is there such a limited amount of information on here?
The same thing can be said for all questions.

I have your reply at the beginning of this post.
By the way, I don't use Windows. I also know what you don't seem to. The kernel and code are closed proprietary source.
