Does this laptop work if you take it to a friend's house or a hotspot?

My laptop does not work connected to a hot spot. It connects but has no internet access.

So your laptop has the same problem if it connects to the hot spot router or your home router.
Look in device manager under network adapters.
You should see the wifi adapter.
Uninstall the driver and reboot.
