Computer wont turn on, front light is yellow.

Jul 27, 2007 9:04AM PDT

I turned off my computer last night, and today I attempted to turn it on, and a yellow light comes on the tower instead of a green, and I hear nothing running.

What could be the problem?

I had a Dell optiplex gx620 at work which did that; unfortunately it wasnt good news. The motherboard had failed and since it was out of warranty we ended up replacing the entire pc.

I have a Gateway 700X LTD. I opened up the case and there is a green light coming from the Motherboard, so more than likely its the power supply, it has a test switch on it, and I pressed it for more than 5 seconds and the light never came on.
