Computer wont turn off display after period of inactivity

hi guys

i just bought a new sony vaio sr laptop w. windows 7 professional on it. the problem i have w. this laptop is that it wont turn off display after period of inactivity - i tried different power options but no luck...

any help on this matter is deeply appreciated in advance!
