Question

Computer wont stop randomly beeping

Jun 17, 2018 9:25PM PDT

Hello, My computer keeps beeping at random and I’m not sure whats wrong. There is no pattern. Sometimes it beeps twice before pausing, then at random 3,4, or 5 times. Sometimes the sets of beeps go off just a couple times, and sometimes it feels like it lasts for 10 to 20 minutes. Its completely random, doesnt matter if Im watching a video or staring at the desktop. Computer temp shows usually between 28-31c.

I checked the BIOS menu and it shows all fan and heat warnings are disabled. Also noticed every time it happens fan#1 flashes on my pc temp control panel which I’m not sure why since its turned off in the BIOS. Please help before I take a baseball bat to the thing Happy

ps I know these beeping questions have been asked and Ive looked theough dozens of questions for solutions so far out of luck.

That other parts could be getting too warm. Is that fan speed at ZERO? That's not good.

I have run into builders that try that and they are non-plused about having to get the fans moving or we won't work on their PC.

I feel DUMB lol. Thanks for the response man. When I first set the panel up I just set it on auto, let it do its thing, and pretty much ignore it. Somehow the fan button got pressed which turned the system off but all of the fans were still running which through me off. First temp control panel Ive had, I need to get the manual back out.
