Aug 30, 2006 8:58PM PDT

now I usually hook up my pen drive to the computer and it it almost always use H:\ (I've got a lot of thing hook up in this computer Happy ). but now it wont give a letter at all. It recognize saying found sandisk mini cruser. but if i go to safely remove hardware it says location 0. It does this to all my pen drive including my mp3 player. Its driving me nuts i cant update anything.

Ironically it recognize my external hard drive g:\ but I never take it off the computer.

I'm using window pro xp.

To resolve this, I have found if you go into "Control Panel", go to "Administrative Tools", go to "Computer Management" and select "Disk Management". You should see in the list your pen drive. If you right click on the pen drive, you should see an options menu where you can select to assign a drive letter. It may have been assigned "G" in which case you can reassign "H" or any other unused letter. Hope this helps.
