General discussion

Computer will not connect to internet.

No this is not the zonealarm problem that happened tuesday of this week.

Earlier today i was on the internet and got disconnected i tried getting back on and no luck. i have checked my cables modem etc. and the computer next to me works fine. also ad-aware did not find anything wrong with my PC. do u guys have any info that would help me.

Did you uninstall the patch that caused this issue?

Also, if XP, Vista what happens if you use System Restore to yesterday?

try to right click on your lan connection in the network prefs. and enable it. I have seen it being disabled (for reasons only known to God & MICROSOFT)

also go into the device manager and check if your network card has no conflicts or corrupt drivers
