First, I believe the free video editing program you referred to is called "Aviutl", not quite the way you spelled it. And because of that, are you sure you spelled "meen" correctly? I know of no such program name although it's entirely possible there is such.
Have you checked in Task Manager or by using Autoruns to see if there is a "meen" or "meen.exe" program running? Or maybe the failed install left a registry "call" to the "meen" program which isn't there. If that's the case, then a search of the registry for that startup line, then removal of such, should also fix the problem.
But because it's also possible there is malware that came with the free "Aviutl" program, please click on the link below and run all the scans listed in the article, in the order given.

For some reason, after attempting to install avuitl, an video editing program, unsuccessfully, every few hours upon using my computer, an pop up with the words "meen has stopped working, hang on while window reports this problem to Microsoft" would appear and the computer would slow down significantly. Please help if you know any solution to this and thank you.
