As in 4K gaming?

You are instantly shopping for the Nvidia 1080 or better cards. The PSU should not work with that new card so replace that too.

Monitor

You have a 1440p ips monitor.
If you replace that with a 4k monitor it's doubtful you will see any difference.

What you will need is a whopper gpu to feed that 4k monitor if you want good fps.

If money is no object then you go with a gtx 1080ti and as large a 4k monitor as you want.

GPU

Thank you for your advice.
And rest of my hw would be ok with 1080? I mean if I can "harvest" its potential.. or better to upg something else / buy 1070 or something.

I thought if I would go for 32" 4K for example EIZO I would reach difference.. but if not I will save money

There are reviews about the 1070 on 4K UHD monitors.

A gamer would be upset at the results in many games. But if that's all you can do, then you know to reduce settings or just send 1080p and let the monitor upscale it.
