What was the old gpu?
What is the new gpu?
What is the psu?......make and model.
I recently replaced my graphics card for a better one
I correctly changed out the hardware, and downloaded(what I thought at least) was the correct drivers off of the Nvidia platform, for the type of graphics card I had. The computer worked like a gem on the highest graphical settings for most of my games for about 7 hours.
At the 7 hour mark, it turned off and tried to go back on. Usually failing to load windows, or keep windows open for 30 seconds without turning off again. As far as my BIOS say, nothing is overheating/ fans are spinning at a normal rate.
I uninstalled my drivers / did a reset of all of my computer data and now my computer won't crash.
I don't really know why it was crashing/ if i've solved anything as I havent downloaded anything new yet, or the drivers again. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me if the same problem persists? Or if there is anything besides downloading the new drivers that I need to do.
Thanks,
Oliver
