by kenturman / February 23, 2014 5:11 AM PST

I have a windows 7 operating system and I'm attempting to connect my pc to the tv by an hdmi cable.. when I go to control panel- display- adjust resolution to identify the second monitor (tv) the image on my screen is transferred to the tv and I can not select or apply the second monitor. All image an control is transferred to the tv and no input can be made from the computer.

While I can select HDMI or speakers (in the Speakers Control Panel) I have yet to see Windows do what you ask.

Sorry, maybe Windows 9?
