Question

Computer Telephony Integration

Which industries have a need for this kind of software? I'm aware that sales people use this, just not sure if it's for everyone like small businesses and startups.

We're running a real estate company employing 35 sales agents. Can we integrate our VoIP with our CRM without a CTI solution?

That's a question for the company that handles your VoIP.

But I think that integrating VoIP with CRM on a computer can be called Computer Telephony Integration. And it seems you need a solution for that. Then I think CTI solution is the right term for what you're looking for.

Hey, Barb.

The list of industries that can benefit from computer-phone integration or Computer Telephony Integration is endless. Businesses rely on customer acquisition, sales, marketing, and most of all data. If you need data for your business to function, if you convert leads to prospects to actual customers, you can definitely take part in the integration.

Some CRMs can integrate with partner phone systems without a CTI solution/extension; however, you can't maximize its features. I know Tenfold does integrations of major systems in the market. What's your CRM? Your phone system? Take a look at this list of compatible systems to see if what you have is in it: https://www.tenfold.com/integrations/

We have Zendesk and Mitel.

They're not too expensive, are they? lol

I'll check them out. Thanks, Win_Dar.

Depends on the type of budget you have. Basically these guys don't require you to purchase any other software or change your current systems into different ones so you save quite a huge amount on those alone. I think they have their pricing readily available on their site just like most SaaS companies.
