In fact each profession does use terminology that may sound like gibberish to those outside the profession.
A few folk dislike this and it has at times caused some strife. For me it's never been better as I can "Google it" so there's a term that may be gibberish to all of us a few decades ago.
Dear experts,
two brief questions from a newbie:
1. Can you think of any expressions in the world of computers that have been borrowed from legal language? I think of "smart contracts", possibly "client". Anything else that comes to your mind?
2. Is there a term in the English language for the technical language used by computer nerds? I would not mind if it sounded a bit colloquial. "Computer gibberish"? Never heard that expression, but maybe you know something better.
I need this for a presentation next week.
Thanks in advance,
Olaf
