Many of those are cracked, infected and broken. Since we can't discuss that, it's an issue that will dog you until you remove it from the system.
You also have the Seagate HDD which has been found to create weird issues.
Your story is light. Such as it did this when new or recent. If new you are looking at changing parts. Even if recent I find the issue to be either the cracked OS, CMOS battery, PSU and/or motherboard.
The thing that folk get upset about is the fix is not known till you change the parts you suspect.
So, I've a little problem. When I start my computer, it clearly starts up. Fans are spinning. But not much happens. First it just kept at the startscreen, showing the motherboard brand. But even from there, I couldn't get into the bios. So I've tried starting it with a windows CD. But that doesn't seem to have much effect either...
I tried removing the cooler, starting the PC for a very short time. It did heat up, so I assume the CPU is alright. I tried removing the RAM, to see if my computer would start to beep to alert the RAM is missing. But it didn't beep.
Before the problem, my computer would sometimes randomly crash, when there were too many things open at once. At least, that was what it seemed like. But I don't know if that's just a conformation bias on my side. The screen would then go blank, my computer would keep on, but when I press the Numlock key, the light doesn't go on or off, thus freezes. The funny thing is that I had the exact same problem with my previous computer, though it never got to the point I couldn't turn it on anymore. Thus, I assumed it was some kind of software problem.
Things that are worth noticing:
I use an illegal version of windows, the same one from the previous computer.
I use programs such as Utorrent, to download stuff. (Someone told me this is really bad, because it opens a 'gateway' for viruses?)
It's only 2 years old, though my room is rather dusty.
I built my computer, myself. It's AMD. Its components are:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3500 AM3+
Motherboard: Asro 970 Extreme4
Harddrive: Seag 1TB ST1000DM003 7200 SA3
Power: XFX PRO 550W
Videocard: Sapp2gb d5 x r7
Cooling: Coomas Hyper TX3 Evo
Somehow I can't see my RAM details on the receipt. But it's an 8GB CORSAIR SDRAM-DDR3
I also have a network card, but that thing is very old. No idea what its specifics are...
Anyway, I hope I gave enough information, thanks for taking the time to read! ![]()
