Computer Speakers or HTIB

Dec 21, 2004 10:30AM PST

I'm thinking about maybe getting surround sound speakers for my room. Its about an average sized room (don't knwo the dimensions). But i was wondering what would be better. Computer Speakers or an HTIB. I would want to use it for my computer and xbox. I've been looking at the Logitech z-5500 Digital computer speakers and the reviews are excellent. It also has optical and coaxial inputs and decoders built in. I'm probably leaning more towards the computer speakers because i can connect my computer through analog with the three inputs. But any help would be apreciated.

The reason we have computer speakers and HT speakers is because computer speakers are more compact for space reason but at the same time it cannot handles very high power either. So it's your choice.
