Such fixes are frequently in the newest version of the audio device drivers.
Hope this helps.
I have XP home and Realtek Audio manager (which I know nothing about)...I use headphones plugged into my speaker for my work, and have always adjusted the volume via my MS keyboard controls. Somehow something has changed because now my keyboard control always resets to maximum volume, no matter what I do. This means I have to reach over to the speaker itself to be adjusting the volume which is a pain. I have looked over the Realtek control panel and the sound options on my computer audio controls, but can't see anything that would be affecting this. It's really frustrating -- if anybody can help me get my speaker volume control back to my MS keyboard, I would so appreciate it. TIA!
