With one stick of ram.
If it still fails remove that stick and try a different stick.
If you still have the old gpu test with that.

Test with the side panel off.
Test with the mobo out of the case and sitting on a piece of card board.
I need some help. Recently, my computer has been shutting down on its own. Sometimes it'll stay on for hours on end without shutting down, I can turn it off on my own in those cases.
Other times, it'll shut down regardless of what I'm doing. Browsing the web, playing a game, sometimes right after it was turned on.
I built the computer 3 years ago. 2 years ago I got a new video card. Last year I got a new CPU.
Specs:
CPU: AMD - FX-8350 8-Core
Motherboard: MSI - 970 Gaming ATX AM3+
RAM: Corsair - Vengeance Pro 4gb x 4
Storage: Samsung 850 Pro Series 128 GB 2.5" SSD, Seagate - Barracude 2 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM HD
GPU: XFX - Radeon R9 390X 8GB
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 850W
I just replaced the power supply because I read online that was most likely the issue, did not fix it.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
