Question

Computer shutdown unpredictably

Aug 7, 2016 7:05AM PDT

My laptop usually shut down when I use the arrow keys too much, especially when using apps which require using arrow keys like Microsoft Word, Nintendo DS games, racing games on Bluestacks, etc. Is there any problems with my laptop?
For more details, my laptop is Dell Inspiron N4110 with 2.20GHz Intel Core i3 and 2.92GB RAM usable. And, by "shut down" here I mean the display is suddenly black and it is impossible to do anything with it after that, the power is still on.

Answer
Nintendo never released games on the PC.

Those emulators can push a machine hard so let's see if this is a gaming laptop.
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Dell-Inspiron-14R-N4110-Laptop-Review.70944.0.html find this is not a gaming laptop.

But some good news in the stress tests tell us it did stand up to the stress.

This is why I have to ask if you are keeping up with your monthly 1st of the month canned air cleaning on the vents. As this routine is on the web I won't write how but ask if you do this.

I have no longer stressed my laptop with those apps

I haven't used those emulators for months but the problems still occur with Microsoft Word, Google Chrome or TeXStudio. And I've never done the routine you mentioned. Any suggestions?

Start doing the normal maintenance.

If you didn't then the build up over time will take some time to get out.

It's like a car. If you don't, eventually it goes to the shop for a big repair bill or you buy another.
