- How did you "try to wipe"? DBAN or Killdisk are the usuals, but GPARTED does a good job either. And what happened?
-Wipes usually don't reset the computer (whatever "resetting a computer" is). They wipe and after that you need to install an OS (such as Linux or Windows 10) by booting from install disk or stick you made or bought.
- If the install of an OS fails, the PC doesn't work indeed. Nothing wrong with that.
I'd try again with a good Windows 10 install disc.
I was trying to wipe my
Computer with windows 10 and when I tried to for the maybe 20th time I turned it off because it got stuck on resetting the computer at 1%. When I tried to turn it back on it just kept rebooting and didn't even allow me to go into my computer at all it just kept restarting, please help, thanks
