But in short, you have what you suspect and the disk boot failure. Fix both.

When I boot my computer, it sometimes says "Disk boot failure," and when I get past that by going through safe mode and doing a restore, my computer randomly slows down. I open steam and try to download something, and it ends up not doing it. Sometimes a certain application takes minutes just to open. When I press cntrl, alt, delete and try to end a process, that process alone takes minutes to end as well.
Windows also sometimes takes forever to boot.
Anyone know how to fix this?
My windows version isn't genuine, can that be affecting my computer's speed?
