That's a nice project. I think your options are:
- start following courses, reading books and learn programming
- find a local friend to help you
- hire someone to do it
- refine the current system and document it
I have written an excel spreadsheet system used for running our local flower show, which connects to many mail merge docs to print judging lists, prize cards etc etc. I need to ramp this up to a more 'user friendly' system (so that I can hand control over to a more novice computer user), but have little to no 'coding' knowledge. I am somewhat familiar with Open Office Database (aka Access), but unsure where to start. Looking for someone to help me, put me on the right track, help me to learn coding or some alternative.
