As to the board call MSI to ask what next.
Seems this was kicked around at http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2957188/3820-stuck-ghz-low-fps-games-result.html
Since flashing BIOS can brick a board, do that under MSI's instruction so you can get them to RMA that board.
I downloaded the cpuid monitor to check out temperatures and everything and noticed that my cpu cores were staying at 1.2ghz instead of 3.6ghz After doing some reasearch i noticed someone else has had the same problem and once they solved it they said they updated their bios and it fixed the problem. I then went to the msi website found my motherboard and went to where it had a download for the bios update. I put the file onto a flash drive like it said and ran the program. It then said that itd restart a few times during the process and i hit ok and then something else came up with a bar that started to fill up and then the screen went black. Ive been waiting for about an nd it hasnt restarted and my monitors have been black/no signal for the whole time. Not sure if i/what i messed up and if theres any way to fix it.
