Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools -> Event viewer -> Windows Logs -> System. Look for entries marked ERROR in red. Note that this log is very cryptic.

Good luck
Hi:
We upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 recently. On boot up Windows 10 starts but after a little while (after displaying the Windows 10 symbol on the screen) it continues in some sort of a loop and does not do anything. The monitor displays the message to click on a key or move the mouse. Nothing happens if we move the mouse or click on a key. We have to manually restart the computer (by pressing the restart button on the computer.) The computer restarts and the Windows 10 boots up fine and continues on as normal.
It is not clear why the computer has to be manually restarted with every boot up of Windows 10. We never had this type of a problem with Windows 7.
Thanks
