Anyhow I've gotten back into old PC using a FREE password reset called NTPASSWORD. It's free, tutorials are on the web and youtube and THE ONLY THING is that you asked to recover the password. My method just resets it which some didn't want to do.
Im in need of help logging into my old Windows Vista desktop.
The administrator accounts on it have passwords that are long forgotten, and all features such as updating, or using CMD in administrator mode are locked behind these forgotten passwords.
I've attempted to use the HAA, but it was turned off back in 2007 when the computer was new, and with Vista if there is an active administrator account the hidden one will not show up in safe mode. I have tried all safe modes already (Networking, With Command Prompt, Regular).
No there was not a recovery disk created, and I no longer have the Vista disks on hand. Is there any way for me to recover the password, or change the password forcibly through other non administrator accounts?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance
