Today, during the defrag process, I tried to disable my screen saver. A novice, I must have done something wrong because since then I have been getting, when the computer is at rest, a rectangular box that says:
"Unlock computer". Then it says Microsoft Xp and
This computer is in use and has been locked. Only (my password and name)OR an administrator can unlock this computer.
Below that is User name and a box and Password and a box. Below that are two boxes that say OK and Cancel. When i click Ok the rectangular box disappears.
Where might I find the system area to prevent this box from appearing???????
Many thanks....Miller

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
