Question

computer keeps powering off

hey, completely new to this forum but came up on a Google search so I'm hoping for the best.

I've been having problems with my desktop pc for a while, the issue is basically it will power up initially then after around 5 mins just die,when reboot is attempted it just turn off either straight away or quicker than it did previously,any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated

And If You've Never Done It Before, Blow Out The Dust Inside

Heat buildup can cause such problems as well as the power supply. Take the cover off the tower and use compressed air to blow out the dust and junk from around the processor, heatsink, power supply, and all fans and vents.
