Computer is not working

Hi I am Jason Lapene, I had purchased a laptop six months ago and I am using windows XP but from last week it hangs very much and even it is difficult to login into my computer. I have already explain this problem to the concerned people from where I had purchased it but the are not able to sort out this issue. Please suggest me is there any possibility to repair my laptop or I have to purchase a new one.....
