core temperature seems to tank
What does that mean?
Hello there! I come to this forum with a question regarding some issues I started getting with my desktop PC.
The general problem is that if it is left a few hours turned off, it takes it extremely long to stand back up when booted. 2-4 minutes until I get through the Windows welcome screen and likewise long times until it even registers program startups after.
Oddly enough if it runs for a while, it seems to be fine on this front, but then it gets another - freezing. Sometimes the entire screen freezes, if something plays music or sound even that stutters and stops until 20-30 seconds later it goes on. Sometimes it's just one select program, or the task bar, or two of the three windows I've open. At any time this happens, core temperature seems to tank (according to SpeedFans sensors), and the CPU fan pauses for a bit before continuing on.
My question is , what could possibly cause this issue? I had several hunchnes but none proved to be the case just yet. If needed, I can provide specs as well (not writing this from home, with apologies).
