I have a compaq presario desktop operating windows 2000 pro and an amd700 chip. This problem also happened when the computer was operating Windows XP. Everytime a video starts to play in a web page or from a media player like wmp or rp, my computer freezes and I have to restart. I tried swapping the video cards and same problem. Any ideas what can be the problem?

Without more information, I'd guess not enough RAM or a
