Computer freezes everyday and must hard reset to turn it off

So my computer has been freezing everyday and i don't know what is wrong with it. I'm thinking it is the motherboard that is failing on me. I read that someone else had freezes with this motherboard too. it is updated to ivy bridge for the 3570k. Anyone know what it could be?

my specs are:
mobo: Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 mATX LGA1155 Z68 DDR3 3PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 HDMI DVI SLI SATA3 USB3.0 Motherboard
graphics: nvidia geforce gtx 570
8 gb ram
intel core i5-3570k cpu @ 3.4ghz - 3.8 ghz
modxstream pro 600w power supply
barracuda 1tb HDD
windows 7 64-bit

Why did you go with a split rail PSU? +12V1@25A

I see this has two +12V rails at 25 Amperes each. It would be easy to overtax one and lockup. Ask the machine's maker to try a single rail PSU. That's no guarantee that's it.

I can't tell if you updated the bridge from your post. I have to guess you meant some driver from intel.com.
