Question

Computer fails to boot up

Oct 9, 2018 6:00PM PDT

Just took a trip evacuating from Hurr Michael. Decided to fill empty space with my custom built computer. I get to my evac point and decide to plug in my computer but when I turn it on my ASrock logo comes up saying "starting repairs/diagnosing problems" then goes to the windows troubleshooting menu after failing to diagnose/repair.

The trip wasn't rough but I'm not ruling out physical damage. I've tried a few plug/unplug options(RAM, HD, power, and graphics card). I looked in BIOS and everything looked right. I even did a PC reset and all it does is bring me to the log in screen that requires a password (that isn't the one I set) and it won't connect to the internet. It's like Windows won't start seems to be the problem. I don't have my install disk on me so that option is out as well.

Am I missing something? Any tips? I don't have any of my tools or repair equipment since I left that at home. So I'm limited to what I can do with my hands.

A clarification. It's like the startup path for my computer is missing. If that helps

Is this Windows 10?

And the login that requires the Internet? (email login?)

I've seen folk wipe a machine over this. That wipe or reset created even more problems to solve. Drivers, sometimes using an Ethernet cable to get online and just plain a wreck.

This is another reason why I use a local login account.
