Good day!
When starting the computer, all you get is a black screen.
Here's the solution:
Turn on your computer and tap the "F8" key to get "Windows Advanced Options"
( if boot menu appears, please press "Esc" key and keep tapping on the F8 key) .Select "Safe Mode". Go to Control Panel -> Backup and Restore > Recover system settings or your computer > Open System Restore > follow the wizard to restore the system to the state before the issue occurred.
Otherwise,
Open the BIOS > Load default settings > Make sure that your hard drive is detected in the BIOS. Set your hard drive (where OS is installed) as primary boot device. Save the settings and exit from the BIOS.
Misconfig stopped responding, read here in this link.

Hope this will help your concern.
Hi Everyone,
I have a windows 7, I tried using the F8 button to get into the Safe Mode for some reason it doesn't work. I googled for solution and many said to go to the MSCONFIG and click Safe Mode then restart. In an ideal world this would work. My current state of my computer is the CPU is running, but the screen is completely blank. Can anyone explain this to me? Please!!!!! Thank you all in advance
