Answer
New Speccy Reading for May 2, 2017.
May 2, 2017 7:42AM PDT

I see I missed the SlimWare Utilities the first time round. There was a lot of things in the first reading so let's be clear that optimizers, driver updaters and such are to be avoided.

1. StartCN appears to be SlimWare.
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/556908/driverupdate-by-slimware-utilities/ is pretty harsh on it.

2. What is "1 hour turn off"?
It's a new thing I can't find information on. Best gone unless you know it.

3. Bios still out of date and from their page it mentioned stability.
"13. BIOS OUT OF DATE.
"M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3 BIOS 0502
Improve CPU stability" Yours is 0404. You are having stability issues and item 12 is concerning. Ask the maker why this board? "

4. Voltages are way off. It's either true or Speccy doesn't read these on this PC.
If off and given the PSU I found, this is a source of lockups, crashes and reboots.

5. Optical drive. Unplug till stable.

6. Canon MX470 drivers are from before Windows 10 (2006 to 2013 dates.)
http://support-asia.canon-asia.com/contents/ASIA/EN/0100577001.html notes 2015. If you updated for yours from the Canon site in your country, then it's Canon using files from 2013 and it's OK. I can't know this but you have to watch out for this since it can cause issues.

7. DNS Server: 192.x.x.x
Beyond the performance issue I'm going to write from now on this is not a good thing.
Example. https://www.google.com/search?q=belkin+dns+hijack
Stop using the router as the DNS Server.

1. Deleted
2. I made it for automatic shut off while running downloads.
3. *I am having issues with this one. When I try to download off asus (it's under window 7 so I don't know if that conflicts with my system on windows 10.) and I go under the bios tab for the "Drivers and Tools". I go to M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3 BIOS 0502 (Improve CPU stability) and download. Then I get a ROM file which I am having diffuculty opening. I downloaded winrar and every time I try to open the ROM file it says it is corrupted or damaged.*
4. Just bought a new PSU. Gonna install this weekend.
5. Unplugging after I get off tonight.
6. Downloaded your link.
7. Just changed DNS Server to Google Public DNS. Is that ok?

A ROM file is used by the update app.

And is not opened. Can you point me to the motherboard update document that tells you to open a ROM file? I don't think you'll find that.

ITEM 6. Printer driver. I hope you get this from your country's Canon site. I used this as an example.

Here is the new speccy with the new PCU. Removing the old one was a real pain in the *** because the 24 pin cable was had some glue on it and I really had to work on it. Does the system seem ok? I am kinda exhausted and I not sure if i missed anything.

I will look at that pg tomorrow after I get back tomorrow night. Too tired right now.

Still missing that BIOS update.

System temp looks high. Are you putting the case cover on? I'd leave it off for now.

I'll wait till the BIOS is done then I'll do a deep reading of the Speccy.
