I built my pc in November, I should say I up[dated my bios immediately (I know dumb) and the update process bricked the mobo so I had to flash from usb and it worked. It was fine for a while but I eventually developed some graphics prblems i shouldn't have and have tried finding a working driver for me but to no avail, cant play borderlands 3 Sad, my orblem is a lot like this posts https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/new-build-pc-crashes-to-black-screen-while-gaming/ I will try removing my hhd but would appreciate help because even more recently my computer has been doing this random crashing every day or 2 when not even playing intensive games (the last time I was WATCHING YOUTUBE in full screen) I really need assistance. the bluetooth driver doesn't crash every time which is weird it will just keep playing music but no keyboard mouse input works tho lights stay on. thanks in advance

Answer
No. Updating the BIOS on new builds

IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO as well as the right time.

On top of that, so many Ryzen systems show up at the shop and we found that a BIOS update corrected so many of them that we consider the BIOS update on a Ryzen build NON-OPTIONAL.

On to that Speccy (thanks for that.)

1. RAM is not reporting in.
a. The SPD isn't being read.
b. There is no report on dual, single channel.

This alone is cause for concern as RAM issues cause a lot of problems. Talk to the motherboard maker (their forum) and ask if these sticks are compatible.

2. BIOS. Still out of date.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MPG-X570-GAMING-PRO-CARBON-WIFI
This is where the memory sticks are made compatible if they can be.
Back to the motherboard maker in their forum to sort that out.

3. GPU drivers. That model is known for video driver issues. I can't help you there but note it as it is what it is. See if there's been any updates to that driver and consider use of DDU to get a fresh start then install the GPU driver the GPU maker recommends.

Update

Thanks so much, updated bios to latest, SPD still empty but CPU-z is picking it up under SPD and seems recognized in my bios/on my system so might be a problem with speccy? also have g skill trident which is marketed specifically to be compatible with radeon? will reach out to msi. did the driver stuff you said and reoverclocked my gpu and vram and getting solid fps with no sudden drops in the games that were being weird before! will respond if I get more of the weird crashing behavior but so far so good. Thanks again! save me a lot of time and frustration

Thank you for the report. Also.

Speccy is not flawless. We turn to CPU-z next which you did.

Between the BIOS and GPU driver work this is (sadly?) de rigueur (common) work that seems to help given the story. Thank you for trying as I do get pushback at times and it's nice as hearing "I love it when a plan comes together".
