Question

Computer crashes during video transcoding

Mar 17, 2017 11:43PM PDT

Every time I begin transcoding a video file my computer crashes.

I'm unaware of what type of issue this is?

If it is a hardware or software related issue??

Is there any trouble shooting software to determine if there is a hardware problem or any defective parts in my PC

Does anybody know of any software to detect faulty parts in a PC??

Could be both.

I don't know your PC but a common temp fix is to point a fan at the open case of the desktop. If that works you know it's heat related and read priors on that.

Uninstlal and Reinstall the transcoding Program

What transcoding program did you using? Try to uninstall and reinstalling the program again.

And of course you can do this again. But try to open the task manager at first to see if the program take more cpu resources.
