computer crashes

If I run my computer, with apps or no apps it will crash if i let it go to sleep, not hibernate, but the screen saber will come on and the monitor will shut off ( the computer is supposed do this). heat is not a problem and the system is not overclocked. I have played long drawn out video games on it. so i have no idea what is going on

asus a8n premium
1024 gig of ocz ram 1 stick
nvidia 7800gtx
550w antec

...in another post that you partake in P2P sharing. Malware/spyware from the P2P cracks in your security can cause this as well. That is why I don't P2P.

okay i removed the bearshare, 20.00 bucks i will have to eat. but i have been trying to download a new driver off the EVGA website and it stops. no errors. the dialog still apears to run but the download is at a stand still, AGGGG

...nVidia drivers from nVidia.com. Work great. I'm assuming you can get just about everything else from Asus.com.

If you still have download hiccups, scan for spyware. If it doesn't work after the scans, download and run WinsockXPFix (which you should try to download first).
