Question

computer crashed after e-mail server hijacked address book

Jul 23, 2015 9:15PM PDT

My smart phone alerted me to "suspicious activity" on my yahoo account and to "secure account". As soon as I got home to my PC, I noticed several failure delivery notices to several of my outdated contacts and instantly new I had been "hijacked". Using another form of social media I quickly allerted friends, family, contacts, etc. not to open any mail from me dated on "that day". It took a couple weeks but my PC did eventually crash. I restored it, installed and ran Microsoft Security, Glarys Utilities, and Crap Cleaner. I have not since used my yahoo account. I would like to remove my contacts as well as yahoo from my computer permanately but am afraid of recreating the problem...I have changed passwords...Please advise

Hi when you reinstalled did you put yahoo back on or did it just appear on its own.
IF you want yahoo off your computer just go into control panel, the programs and feathers, scroll down highlight yahoo with right click select uninstall and then watch and follow what the screen tell you to do and there should be a balloon come up with yahoo has been successfully removed from your computer just if it show click ok and yahoo should be gone then run CCleaner that will get rid of any bits left behind
if you get stuck just get back to me on here
