Question

Computer boots to back

Sep 28, 2015 7:49PM PDT

My computer is having a problem, maybe you can help. I made a mistake and turned off my computer while it was in sleep mode, now when I went to turn it back on it boots to black, fans work, everything seems to be working and it gives one short beep, which is normal, but it seems the computer is failing to talk to the monitors. I've tried a few things suggested online, unplugged everything and turned it back on, checked ram, they haven't worked.

Any idea what this is?

If that doesn't work, please give details about your make/model computer and what version of Windows you're running.

Good luck.

Onboard or video card in a slot? If video card, is the onboard turned off in BIOS, or not?
