Computer boots but no moniter display, please help!

by dakotathtsme / July 3, 2013 10:55 AM PDT

Well, I recently posted a thread about my bsod problem, upon investigating the insides of my rig, I plugged everything back up and went to turn it on. After I got everything set back on I pushed the power button and nothing happened, so I figured I I forgot to plug something in, took it all apart again, nothing was wrong. I unplugged the cable that I had connected to my GPU and she fired up. After that I got my cables that were connected to my GPU and connected them to the one that I had all of my fans connected and it fired up but still no moniter display. I suspect the cable went bad. Also the cable had the three prong fan1 end so I am not sure if this has connection to the moniter problem or not.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
