Computer answers phone

I am running winxp home ed. For some reason, my computer answers the phone. I did have Talkworks pro installed, so i uninstalled it, but it still answers.
Any advice? Thank you!!

you need to check your dialup networking settings and uncheck the option to answer the phone.
