I have a tracfone(lg430g) and I would like to take some of the photos I have captured and transfer them to my computer.

I have A Dell computer home basic, OS, vista- dim521
I don't know if my computer has the capacity for me to transfer photos from my tracfone to computer, is there someway for me to find out?

Clarification Request
Did you try this link?

I started at http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-LG430G

I guess I could have gone to google and typed in "How to I save pictures on my LG430G?" but I'm one to try the maker's site first.

"you can take pictures
of people. Additionally, you can send
photos to other people and select
photos as wallpaper."

Nowhere in the product page or manual is any mention of transfer of photos to a PC.

Answer
Well, your computer certainly does.

As long as the hard disk isn't full, but you don't say much about that.

I think your question should be, does this LG 430G have any options to connect to a computer, to transfer photos across.

With 'that' question I would have to say, Yes, but it's not easy.

This phone has no USB ports so there is no direct way to connect it to a USB port on a computer.

It does have BlueTooth so it could connect to another Bluetooth device. Not many PCs or laptops are Bluetooth capable.

Finally, it has a Sim card. Whether that could be used to transfer photos to the computer I don't know, but if your computer has a Sim card reader, you could slip the phone's Sim card into that, and then transfer any photos on the Sim to the computer. If it does not have a Sim card dreader you can get those from Amazon.

This YouTube video explains the capabilities of this phone;

I hope that helps.

Thanks, I read an article that said to connect the usb cable to port on the camera that you charge the phone with. So, still it doesn't look like it can be done.

Which can be faulty I remember in the early days the carriers changed you a fee to send the photo to your PC. It's possible this tracfone still does that. But I'd check the little manual that came with the phone. I've had a few tracfones and not once did I use the camera so I can't share how to transfer the pictures.

I own the same phone. The only way you can get the photos off the phone and onto the computer is by emailing each photo individually to your email account. It subtracts one minute from your phone to email it. Sad Dannie

Answer
You must be aware of this

well, whatever you do, people must now be aware of programs such as the one I saw on http://cellphonetrackerx.net

It could now track both PCs and phones. Good if you're the one doing the tracking. Bad if you're the one being tracked.
