Question

Computer/ all games keep crashing

Jun 4, 2019 5:36PM PDT

Every game I own has been crashing and my computer has been generally ****** for the last five days and nothing I do, eg. reinstalling drivers, resetting my PC, scanning for viruses, using the trouble shooter, or deleting all my temp files has helped at all and in some cases made matters worse. Cooling seems normal, as my CPU has maintained 75-80 C in game, but one of my two fans is not spinning, but I am not sure if this is normal. Anything you can do to help would be great, but I'm not even sure at this point. I have decent specs, Intel i5 quadcore CPU, two Nvidea g-force 970s connected with SLI bridge, sabertooth Z97 mark 2 Mobo, 16 gb of ram. Never had an issue with anything until now, desperatly need help.

Sounds like a heat issue.

Maybe time for the canned air and thermal paste treatment.

Answer
75 to 80C sounds too high.

And if you have a failed fan you need to fix that before something burns out.

For now, consider Dafydd's advice and until it's fixed, leave the case cover off.

Test with the side panel off.

Tell about this fan not spinning.
