wi-fi is not working in my laptop.

Maybe it's in airplane mode.
Maybe it's not enabled via app or function key.
Maybe there's a driver problem with your laptop.
Maybe there is a hardware issue with your laptop.
Maybe you entered the wrong SSID or password.
Maybe some security software blocks it.
Maybe some malware interferes with the connection.
Maybe there is a serious issue with the OS (is it Windows or Linux?)

Maybe the router is turned off or using a frequency band not compatible with your laptop.

The solution, alas, depends on the cause. So there is some work ahead for you.

Could you mention exactly what is happening

It would be really great if you mention exactly what is happening with your Wi-Fi or did you do anything after which the router stopped working may be. There could be a number of reasons for this.

Just restart your wifi!

configure the situation by left click on your network and then restart your wi fi
