Pay people to do a job?

In reply to: Compromise?

Minor issue.
The Don did his normal thing of fire/ready/aim.
No thought was given to the end game.
Congress is now starting to wake up to this isn't working well.

If you look at the Don pre-prez having people do a job and then not paying them is normal for him.

Do you know the average pay

In reply to: RE:when they don't do THEIR jobs?

for our government workers? "The average federal employee makes $120,000 a year. The average private employee makes $60,000 a year. Let’s get them more in line, and let’s find savings. Let’s hire no new federal workers." Federal CONTRACTORS make millions every year. They can ALL afford to wait for a paycheck unless they do a lot of squandering and didn't put any money away for rainy days. I have NO sympathy.

The person at the airport that tells me to take of my belt and shoes and put my laptop in a plastic bin makes $120K a year?

It is not ok. On the New Year holidays 800 thousand federal employees and their families didn't get any salary and as I know they still haven't got it. And it is because of that SHUTDOWN.
